I’m making up for lost time here. Wow – two FiddleMans (FiddleMen?) in ten days! This could be a record.

I thought it was worth another mailing because I forgot to mention a couple of really important dates coming up.

First, I’d like to say that the Desconso Gardens gig was amazing. What a beautiful setting for live music. I hope we get a chance to do that one again. The flowers were out in full force, fragrant, colorful, and serene. Oh, and the music wasn’t bad either…

Now for Coming Attractions:

First of all, Border Radio is going to be on the radio this Saturday morning on Howard and Roz Larman’s famous “Folk Scene” radio show. So get out of bed (or stay in bed), and listen to some original cowboy jazz and swing on KPFK, 90.7 on the Los Angeles FM Dial. And after you enjoy us on the radio, come on down to the Folk Heritage Society at Templar’s Hall in Old Poway (near San Diego) for a concert on Saturday night.

Also, if you’re around the horse stables in Griffith Park, come and check out a special surprise set of Border Radio at Viva Cantina in Burbank next Thursday (a week from tonight).

And for those San Gabriel Valley residents, we have a new gig coming up in May at Bean Town in Sierra Madre. You can get wired and groove to those smooth and jazzy sounds of Border Radio.

There are a couple of very special concerts coming up for both Border Radio and HotLips and Fingertips. Check out the schedule for September 11^th and September 24^th! These are events not to be missed – They’re still in the planning stage, but I’ll keep you posted well in advance – so mark your calendars!

There’s a lot coming up. Check out the calendar below, and make plans to come to one of these gigs. And don’t forget to come up and say hello!
