to the last FiddleMan mailing of 2004!
I just wanted to take this final opportunity to wish all of my friends and fans a Happy and Prosperous New Year. I wish all of you the best music, happiness, joy and success in 2005. I hope to have the chance to see all of you many times before 2006!
There have been some late additions to the 2005 schedule. A lot of dates to pencil in, and keep track of as the details become clearer. Stay tuned!
The most immediate gig is still with my old friends in Acadiana. IÕve been playing with this band for over ten years, and they have evolved over that time into a first-class Cajon-Zydeco band featuring Teresa Russell on rockinÕ guitar and vocals. They are based in the Ventura/Oxnard area, and have held down a monthly gig at Pirates for years now. I will have the honor of ringing in the New Year as their fiddle player on Sunday, January 2nd, 2005 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm! So come on up to Ventura and do some Zydeco dancinÕ with Acadiana. ItÕs a LOT of fun! I have also been invited to play with Acadiana again at Pirates on Sunday, February 20th, and again at the Bayou Bash Crawfish Festival on Saturday, May 14th in Redondo Beach.
And again, donÕt forget to mark down January 22, 2005 on your calendars. Border Radio will be back in Altadena at Bob Stain's Coffee Gallery Backstage on that date. And don't forget, Kelly usually bakes yummy pies for the Coffee Gallery concerts, and raffles a couple off at the show! WeÕre working on some brand new material too. It will be a great show.

John Delafose, Stevie Riley, Dewey Balfa, Bruce Daigrepont, Queen Ida and many
more. With these influences and Acadiana's talent for writing original songs,
the band lends its own unique style to the Cajun/ Zydeco sound. An Acadiana
show is high energy, a great time, and a festive experience for all ages to
